HOW DO YOU CREATE A GOOD BADGE DESIGN?

Sterk contrast

✓ Good design
Simple shapes, bold colours, clear contrast and minimal text. Every detail stays visible, even at small sizes. This translates directly to a sharp, professional badge.
✕ Too much detail
Highly detailed images like a muddy shoe or a photo-realistic face lose their clarity at badge size. Fine details, shadows and gradients cannot be reproduced in embroidery.
- Keep it simple Too much text or detail can get lost, especially on small badges.
- Use contrast Bold colours or clear lines work well from a distance.
- Provide a vector file if you have one such as .svg, .eps or .ai. No worries if not: we can also work with an image or sketch.
- Leave room for the border We handle the technical details, but bear in mind that a badge usually gets a stitched border edge.
- Avoid gradients, photos and very thin lines these cannot be reproduced in embroidery.
- Avoid text smaller than 5-6 mm it becomes illegible on small badges.
