Iron-on badges may seem convenient, but the adhesive layer breaks down after a few years of sun and rain. That’s why my advice is always to iron and sew. A few extra stitches prevent the badge from loosening or curling.
Wash garments with badges inside out on a low temperature and store loose badges in a binder or on a camp blanket kept out of direct sunlight. This way every funbadge remains a lasting reminder of your scouting adventures.
