PVC badges (also known as rubber patches or rubber emblems) are badges made from soft, flexible polyvinyl chloride. They are cast in a mould each colour layer applied separately creating a sharp 3D relief that embroidered or woven badges cannot match.

Please note: PVC badges cannot be applied with an iron-on backing. The rubber material is heat-resistant but the adhesive layer does not bond to PVC. Always choose velcro, sewing or another attachment method.

What is the difference between 2D and 3D PVC?
With 2D PVC all colours sit at the same level they are separated by recessed lines, which already gives a little depth. With 3D PVC elements literally sit at different heights, making them appear to truly stand out from the badge.
Can I iron PVC badges on?
No PVC is heat-resistant and an iron-on adhesive layer does not bond to this material. Choose velcro, a sew-in channel, self-adhesive or pin fastening. We supply with velcro as standard unless agreed otherwise.
Are PVC badges truly waterproof?
Yes, completely. PVC is naturally water-resistant you can simply rinse the badges or use them in the rain without the colours fading or the material being damaged.
How long does production take?
On average 3 to 5 weeks after final approval of the artwork. Making the mould takes slightly more time than with embroidered badges, but the result is worth it.
Can I order glow-in-the-dark or reflective PVC?
Yes! We offer glow-in-the-dark, transparent PVC and reflective finishes. Tell us in your request which effect you want and we will advise you on the options.
I don't have a vector file is that okay?
Absolutely. Send a photo, sketch or description and we will create a free artwork. We make sure the design is production-ready before anything is produced.
